Not Just The
Good Things

We're all familiar with the plethora of websites on the Internet wanting to sell us things and using all means, including fake reviews and testimonials to paint the most positive picture. What the sites rarely tell you, and this includes big ones like Amazon, is that they earn commission on sales so have a vested interest in painting a positive picture.

1stPeptides is more than a little different, firstly our goal is to provide as much information as possible about Peptides & Bioregulators - the sort that can potentially be beneficial to health. We also provide links to sellers we consider to be reputable and we may indeed make a small commission on such referrals, but we never try to influence your free choice nor do we prioritise promoting those that pay the most commission. We also don't in any way promote the kind of Peptides that sell the most, those used by Body Builders and Gym clients.

And when we hear of anything less than positive, be it research or reviews and feedback, we will tell you that too so you are better informed to make your own decisions. We think 1stPeptides is the only site to do this, just as ChemiStore fought for consumers over two decades earlier. We hope you approve.

Like with any medicinal product (although we are not allowed to talk about medicines, drugs or health outcomes as most products we feature will be unapproved) their may be health articles, research summaries and white papers published within the medical arena about them. Where possible we will also provide links to these whether they provide good news or bad. Please remember though that sometimes the originators of such data may themselves have a slightly biased reporting angle, for example, they could take a wage from a large pharmaceutical manufacturer or one of the many trade bodies and regulators who it might be argued are interested in maintaining the status quo. (Sub-postmasters Horizon IT scandal comes to mind?). So its probably no bad thing to keep an open mind and do as much research as you can yourselves before committing to any course of action.

Where we feature customer feedback about a specific product we will use our best endeavours to find as much of this as possible, we will then try and weed out any thats obviously fake or has an obvious commercial agenda meaning its more about the profit than customer well-being. If all else fails we will reshare content from review sites. Sometimes such feedback will mention a specific health condition where results have been positive or not, this does NOT mean we are endorsing that a specific product does indeed work with that health goal beyond the example of the person reporting it. This is for the simple reason that with unapproved supplements neither we or the manufacturers can make such health claims or discuss cures.

In summary, 1stPeptides.com should be your first port of call for a balanced impartial view of the information about Peptides and Bioregulators.

No Extra
Costs

It obviously costs us money to run this website, keep it updated and also keep a watching brief on the markets and products on which we are reporting, plus of course responding to reviews and feedback. For this reason we are happy to accept referral commissions from any sellers who benefit from referral traffic from our website. But we do not give any extra prominence or priority to one brand over another nor do we prioritise results based on any other factors than what is most relevant to your search enquiry.

We can go further than this though - the small number of carefully vetted suppliers that we are happy to refer from this website are just that, carefully selected. If we hear of any aspect of poor service, they are removed from our site. In addition, it is a requirement of working together that it costs our readers no more buying products via a link from 1stPeptides than they might otherwise pay from the same suppliers if they were able to find them themselves and shop direct with the trader.

We also ask that the sellers use industry standard levels of security and safeguard our customers data carefully and in accord with the latest GDPR regulations. In practice this means that your data is safe and wont be sent overseas (unless of course the product has to be fulfilled from an overseas manufacturing plant as not every product is manufactured in every country where it can be purchased). It also means that your data will not be resold or shared with other companies although of course it may be used from time to time by the manufacturer to keep you updated about news regarding the product you have purchased or anything related that may also have a potential health benefit given the likley reason why you are purchasing the first item/s.

1st Peptides do of course not reveal any details regarding health conditions notified to us with any of our manufacturer / retailers but they may be able to deduce for themselves a likley health condition based on what you have purchased!

If you have particular concerns about either your rights under the GDPR data regulations or your privacy and other rights, please do get in touch by emailing 1stPeptides at our usual address and we will answer you promptly.

Finally, whilst on the subject of No Extra Costs it is never our intention to levy any charges for accessing our website or services. In the event that you should follow links from our site to sellers or manufacturers, should you be unhappy with your purchase, we ask that in the first instance you communicate this to them as we are not a party to the financial transaction and can make no refunds ourselves. As we add no costs our Terms & Conditions limit our liability at the maximum of any amount of money you have paid to us, which is plainly zero. We do however try and protect your rights further by trying to prioritise listing only partner businesses with robust policies and the resources to offer what we would consider to be fair refund and compensation policies.

Trusted
Information?

In an ideal world everything about health would be written & approved by the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration, which is a federal agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services established in 1906 by Roosevelt. As the name implies, it’s an institution with very laudable goals – to safeguard that nation’s health. The UK has a similar body called the MHRA, the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, whilst in Europe they have the EMA, the European Medicines Agency. In some instances these agencies also get involved in veterinary medications too.

Over time, these laudable goals, combined with market competition have combined into a unpalatable scenario that is anything but good for health – on average it takes 11 years to get new drugs approved. The total cost of development and approval, through 3 mandatory trials, is estimated by many experts (including John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health, The London School of Medicine and Deloitte’s) to amount on average to $1,300,000,000 each with big pharma spending an extra $1 billion per drug. Contrast this with around a $50,000 cost to get initial approval for a new kind of medical device, and something has broken in the health system.

Little wonder then that smaller healthcare companies are choosing to avoid approval if indeed they could even afford it in the first place. They would prefer to forego the opportunity to use the word Drugs, and be unable to make direct claims about how effective or safe formulations might appear to be and leave the matter in the hands of the public to decide for themselves both in terms of efficacy and risk to health. This has the advantage of enabling newer products to reach those in need fast, at least a decade earlier than might otherwise be the case, and also enables product prices to be so much cheaper.

The latest FDA approved drugs have a median cost per patient of $190,000, a hundred fold increase in under 15 years. Even allowing for the fact that over 90% of new drugs are rejected for approval, this kind of price inflation isn't conducive to good health if it's unaffordable, insured or not. So next time you see a unapproved product for sale for “just $199” is it worth reflecting that this may in fact represent good value and it may be an acceptable risk? Considering the latter isn't just about time and money, what is your health risk from tretment prevarication?

Most of the products we talk about on our site will NOT be approved by the FDA or other regulatory bodies, that need not mean they are ineffective or unsafe, many will have undertaken small clinical trials & used traditionally for years even if they have not been formally trialled for a decade. They cant claim to be drugs and they cant claim to work – plainly this is a difficult line to tread when trying to explain a products purpose and users are saying it does work!

To be clear, we will only talk on this site about products where we are aware of positive customer outcomes / reviews and we will balance this with any negatives we can find (and we will remove persistent poorly performing retailers or manufacturers at a similar cut-off percentage to the FDA) - enabling consumers to make a better informed choice themselves.
